The 10 th Agricultural Research Symposium (AGRES) organized by the Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka will be held on 11-12 of August, 2010 at the Makandura premises of the University.
The students which successfully completed the research project in different key areas of modern Agriculture, will be presenting the findings focusing a audience of Judges, Academic staff , Internal and External Students and visitors. In this manner each student who had undergone six-month Research conduct will be completing their third year by the closing remarks of the event followed by the AGRES cultural show in the 12 th of August 2010.
A precious and popular figure will be the Chief Guest to the opening ceremony along with a distinguished gathering comprised of academics, professionals, and managers/entrepreneurs from a number of private/Govt sector agriculture related institutions. Dr. (Mrs). N.R. Abeynayaka act as the Co-Coordinator of the 10 th Agres A booklet containing “Complete Proceedings of 80 research projects” will be released at the opening ceremony, which contains the outcome of each student’s work.
